I am a cheese lover. I have been known to wack off a hunk and just eat it. No bread. No crackers. Just the cheese in my grubby little hand.
Right now I prefer sharp cheddar, but I recently finished a colby phase. I find I am as happy with the basic cheese as I would be with some namby pamby fancy dancy cheese where you can't pronounce the name and you have no idea where it came from and the name is just weird looking anyway and it is way overpriced and .....

Although I am happy with the basic cheeses, I find I like the smelly cheeses the most. Parmesan, blue, fetta. I like as above, just a hunk in my hand. You should buy a small bit of blue, and simply snack on it. Great as an after meal dessert, with coffee if you like. Or along side tomato soup.
But I did meet my match in limburger. It actually does smell like feet. I was able to choke down a few crumbs, because I had to be able to say I had done it, but the rest went out the door.
Anyway, count me in the cheese lovers club.
