Thoughts on Gifts

I got my wife two presents this week. Just because.

1) a contract for a monthly massage with a franchise called Massage
Envy. This place is a legit massage parlor. Now we both have a
monthly massage and we will go together.

2) a personal trainer at a gym. She really wants to get in better
shape, and hey, I figure I will benefit too, (wink wink).

I wasn't sure about the second gift, because, like, you know, I have
been trying to train her for 10 years with little success.

The perfect gift for a wife.

If you have trouble picking out gifts, try an encyclopedia. Not one of those on CD. No. Get her a real, honest to goodness net of books. There are 24-26 volumes, depending on whether Q and R are together, and whether X Y Z and together. Each year give her one volume. You can even let her pick the letter. Then, after the whole set is given, give her the annual supplements.

Believe me, this is one give that will be remembered.
